RAKOLL® Patrone P2/650 NATUR – Hot Melt Cartridge Adhesive for HOLZ-HER Edgebanding Machines

Patrone P2/650 NATUR is a thermoplastic EVA-based hot-melt adhesive, specially formulated for HOLZ-HER edgebanding machines. It melts easily and produces no stringing, ensuring clean and efficient application. The adhesive is supplied in cartridge form for direct use.

RAKOLL® P2/650 Edge Adhesive

RAKOLL P2/650 is a hot-melt adhesive in natural color, designed for edgebanding applications in furniture and woodworking using HOLZ-HER machinery.

  • Base material: thermoplastic synthetic resin based on EVA.
  • Excellent processability in edgebanding machines — easy melting, no “threading” during application.
  • Viscosity: approx. 65,000 mPa·s at 204°C.
  • Softening point: approx. 97°C.
  • Color: natural; supplied in ready-to-use cartridges or pallets for industrial use.

Ideal for:

  • Edgebanding in furniture production — suitable for melamine, PVC tapes, veneer, and polyester edges.
  • High-speed production lines requiring consistent flow and clean adhesive joints.
  • Furniture manufacturing where edge aesthetics and bonding quality are critical.
  • Recommended wood moisture: 8–10%.
  • Ambient, material, and adhesive temperature: 18–20°C for optimal adhesion.
  • Machine settings: melting temperature 200–220°C; feed speed 12–20 m/min.
  • Ensure materials are properly aligned, surfaces clean and precisely cut; slight preheating may improve results.
  • Storage: cool and dry area; shelf life minimum 12 months without property loss.
  • Note: hot-melt products emit vapors during use — ensure adequate ventilation.
