ΙCΕΜΑ® R 145/88

Category:

Solvent-Free, Moisture-Curing One-Component Polyurethane Adhesive

ICEMA® R 145/88 boasts excellent adhesion to metals such as galvanized steel, high-grade steel, pre-coated steel, aluminum, non-ferrous metals, as well as thermosetting plastics, DKS polyesters, PS GF, hardened PVC, ABS, wood, and cementitious materials.

  • One-component polyurethane (PUR) adhesive that cures through moisture (moisture-cure).
  • Strong adhesion to a wide range of materials: metals, aluminum, PVC, ABS, wood, and composite panels.
  • Low expansion/deformation during curing — suitable for applications requiring dimensional accuracy.
  • High thermal resistance (often above 100 °C depending on the version) and short pressing time when adequate moisture is present.

ICEMA R 145/88 is ideal for:

  • Bonding wood to metals, plastics, or composite materials in furniture, panels, windows/doors, and structural components where high-strength bonding is required.
  • Applications exposed to moisture or thermal variations, where adhesive stability is critical.
  • Production environments that benefit from a 1-component system for simplified processing and reduced application time.
  • The adhesive cures through ambient moisture; environmental humidity or a light misting of water can help trigger the curing process.
  • Open time is short — as with most 1-component PUR systems, pressing must occur immediately after application.
  • Surfaces must be clean, dry, and properly prepared; adhesion strength may vary significantly depending on material type.
  • Store in conditions protected from moisture, as premature exposure affects shelf life and performance.
  • A robust, high-strength bonding solution offering stability, durability, and simplified 1-component application.
  • Ideal for professional use where adhesive performance is critical — including advanced furniture, joinery, and industrial production lines.
  • Choosing a trusted ICEMA product from the H.B. Fuller / Rakoll group enhances reliability, consistency, and the professional quality of your final construction.
